Return my car key immediately after checking the VIN for trade in value instead of holding on to them. 7. Please rate the time required to complete the sales transaction with us. Please provide any additional detail you feel may help us serve you better in this area. There was someone before us. They only had one finance person working, so we had to wait before it was our turn. The wait was not fun as we had two kids with us who were impatient and wanted to leave. However, once we started the paperwork it was relatively quick. 8. Please rate the condition of your vehicle at the time of delivery. 9/10 There was a small paint chip. Service tried to touch up but the color did not match in bright sunlight. Spectrum Collision had three days to try and touch up. It's still not perfect. If I knew it could never look like new, I would have bought a different car without the paint chip. 11. After experiencing your new BMW for the first few days, did any features come to mind that could be improved by BMW Engineering? My previous car is a 2001 BMW 330i. The turn signal pressure increased dramatically and operation has changed. I do not like it. Maybe it takes time to get used the new mechanics. The addition of a second lever for cruise control under the turn signal lever is bad. I keep hitting it when I use the turn signal lever. I would have preferred the cruise control to be the buttons on the right of the steering wheel like my old car. You could make it a software option if you mark the buttons generic. I will have to read the manual (if I can find time) to figure out what the cryptic markings on the buttons are supposed to do now. The navigation system uses a dial instead of an IBM/Lenovo/ThinkPoint (eraser-like mouse pointer on ThinkPad laptops) or a laptop touch pad. I would prefer direct access to an onscreen keyboard. This could be a software option. Spinning around to get to a particular key is annoying. At least make it an omnidirectional rocker instead of only four directions. Then I can jump the cursor to the approximate, if not exact, location of the key I want by leaning the dial in the appropriate direction then fine tune the selection by turning the dial. Add a speed sensor to the dial. If I'm turning it slowly, I want more control, so make the cursor turn/change slower. If I spin faster, I want to get somewhere faster, so make the control change faster. Google map with street level view so I can see what the building looks like from the street would be a very helpful addition. Heck, a Firefox web browser with Flash plug in would be really cool! USB port should allow a flash drive or (in my case, a Sansa Fuze MP3 player which acts like a hard drive) to be used to copy MP3 and other formats like OGG to be copied into the car's hard drive. 12. Please rate our facility with regard to meeting your expectations for cleanliness and comfort. Please provide any additional detail you feel may help us serve you better in this area Instructions/Channel Guide for the TVs in the waiting room would be nice. Better yet, provide Internet web access on the TV with wireless keyboards and built in mouse/trackball/touchpad/thinkpoint. Something like a Nintendo Wii with four remotes would help with the kids. You may want to asset tag the remotes and scan for them at the door though. 15. Were accessory options presented that would complement your ownership experience? N/A Please provide any additional detail you feel may help us serve you better in this area. Factory manufactured tinted windows would be nice (not an applied film, but embedded in the glass). At least 100% UV protection at a minimum.
