I chose to connect SL pad to the SL (GREEN).

I cut the IRd, IR+, and IR- wires fairly long (about 10 to 12 inches) to allow for it to reach to the outside of the Xbox case while leaving room to remove and flip the board without desoldering the IR receiver.
